ATS Calgary is looking for 3 experienced supervisors to work on a 3 month project in Calgary & surrounding area. You will be required to work 12 hour days, 6 days a week (Day & Night shifts available) throughout Southern Alberta.

A Guardrail Installation Supervisor at ATS Traffic would:

  • Be able to coach, mentor, inspire & motivate team
  • Be a self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Lead by example

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead a crew of Install Techs, responsible for overseeing the day to day production in the field
  • Responsible for meeting schedule expectations, and maintain production rates
  • Work alongside the crew to complete installations
  • Document progress daily, compile a weekly report
  • Address any customer issues that may arise
  • Complete all time sheets for themselves & direct reports

 

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of Guardrail Installation experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in the construction industry
  • Leadership for Safety Excellence certificate
  • Must have a valid class 5 non GDL driving licence, clean abstract & own vehicle to get to & from work
  • Be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
  • Be able to pass a Fit Test

Desired Skills:

  • Ground Disturbance 1 & 2 (Consideration will be given to those with this course)
  • Previous experience with Highway maintenance is an asset
  • Traffic Control is an asset
  • Previous experience operating a Skid Steer & a Post Pounder is an asset
