We are looking for a highly experienced, positive, outgoing and action orientated supervisor to be responsible for the day to day operations Edmonton On Street Services Operations. The On-Street Services Department Manager will be responsible for supervising the Traffic Control Manager, Installations Manager, Customer Service Manager, Repair Technicians and Welders.

This position will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following job duties:

Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals

Quoting of all projects in Northern Alberta as needed

Create opportunities to promote and expand our services by building business relationships within industry

Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial activities of the departmental productivity and quality goals

Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency and output

Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department

Review performance data that includes financial, activity reports, and spreadsheets to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement and overall effectiveness

Prepare reports for management to track strategic goal accomplishment

Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures

Accountable for effective management, allocation and assessment of team resources, budgets and policies

Coach, mentor, and develop staff including overseeing onboarding. In addition, providing career development and opportunities

Identify and mentor future leaders

Empower managers and supervisors to take responsibility for their jobs and goals

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of management/leadership experience

Traffic control experience would be an asset

Traffic Control certificates would be an asset

Able to pass a drug & alcohol screening

Must have a valid Class 5 (non GDL) licence and clean driving abstract
