ATS Edmonton is looking for an additional resource for our On-Street Services Repairs department. Our Repairs Technician is responsible for maintaining the Big-Ticket Items such as our digital message boards and truck fleet Another key responsibility in this role will be to provide technical support to the Sales, Customer Service Professional’s, Purchasing Marketing and On-Street Services departments. For our external customers this individual will be the go to person regarding sales support.

At ATS we have a customer service campaign called Service Starts Here. The Repairs Technician position is vital as in this role you provide service directly to our customers. We want an individual who is passionate about Customer Service and takes the time to understand the customers’ needs.


Please note that in this position you may be required to take after hours calls.

This position will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following job duties:

Repair & Maintenance of the local Rental Fleet

Preparation of consignment stock for sales and rentals

Be the point of contact & liaison for product ordered from Ver-Mac

Provide technical phone support, trouble-shooting, and training on all Ver-Mac products

Provide our other locations with repairs & and technical support

Order stock and maintain inventory of parts

Provide warranty service for equipment that is sold



Electronic background is a must

Electronics Technologist/Technician diploma is required

Experience with circuit board repair is a must

Experience with component identification and part datasheets is necessary

Knowledge of networking along with hardware & software experience

Experience with small tools & power tools is an asset

Computer literacy is necessary

Experience with Jam Logics is an asset

Class 5 non-graduated driving licence, own vehicle & clean driving abstract

Ability to lift 75 pounds

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screening

Must be able to pass a Functional Fitness Evaluation

Ability to work overtime when required including evenings, and weekends

Travel to other branches to assist with their fleet may be required
