ATS Traffic Surpasses “500 Employees” Milestone Over Our 9 Locations Across Canada

August 26, 2022 – ATS Traffic Ltd., officially announces the hiring of their 500th employee, Abdullahi Gabow, in the month of August. He is based out of ATS Traffic’s Langley branch in British Columbia.

Since the company’s inauguration in 1966, which started with their late founder and traffic industry pioneer, Lorne Hooper, ATS Traffic has experienced an unprecedented increase in size and volume as a private company. Now, ATS Traffic has entered a new level of playing field and aims for greater heights of fast-track expansion and industry-leading scalability.

“This is such a monumental achievement for ATS Traffic,” said CEO of ATS Traffic, Bobby Cantera. “Our growth, even over the past couple of years, has been substantial. I am proud and excited to witness the trajectory our company is on, and of course we have our employees to thank for playing such an integral role in our journey as an organization. We emphasize the value of teamwork and family-oriented goals internally and it really shows through our unique employee culture, who continue to put in the work and commitment.”

Prior to 2020, ATS Traffic had employed roughly 300 people company-wide with seven branches across Canada. In 2022, they now have nine operating branches and over 520 employees on the payroll, thus representing a significant increase in recruitment and expansion of resources over a relatively short two-year time period.

“What an exciting time to be a part of ATS Traffic!” exclaimed Janet Semeniuk, ATS Traffic’s Vice President of Human Resources. “To enter the realm of 500 employees is truly a remarkable reflection of what we do best. People want to be here, and we want them here! We have a bright future as a leading Canadian traffic control company and look forward to welcoming our next 500 employees.”

With a solid internal structure and core values, ATS Traffic welcomes all to join their team and be a part of an organization that appreciates the foundation of work ethic their employees exemplify regularly.
