ATS Traffic Awarded Platinum Status in the Best Managed Companies Program for the Second Year in a Row

Edmonton, Alberta. May 14, 2024 – ATS Traffic Ltd. Has once again been named a “Platinum Club Member” as part of the Best Managed Companies program in Canada. As a Platinum Club Member, ATS Traffic has been fully recognized for their commitment and dedication to the Best Managed Companies program for over eight years and demonstrating exemplary performance as an organization.

“We are honoured to be named a Platinum Club Member of the Best Managed Companies program,” said Colin McCarten, Executive VP of Sales and Marketing for ATS Traffic. “It isn’t an easy feat to achieve with all the criteria that must be met to retain the status. It is exciting to take ATS Traffic’s progression further.”

Hundreds of companies vie for Best Managed Companies program awards each year. Efforts to attain an award involve an extensive process of evaluation and meeting outlined criteria. This includes the analysis of company structure, annual performance, organizational growth, and internal practices. The program evaluation committee also digs deep into other areas of corporate interest such as company business models, strategy development, competitive advantages, and company culture.

“Our footprint in Canada is highly significant and our reach continues to grow,” explained Colin. “This prestigious designation will continue to enhance our credibility, build on our strong company culture, and increase ATS Traffic brand recognition.”

Platinum Club Member designation comes with incentives such as increased public media exposure, exclusive usage of the Best Managed Companies program brand, networking opportunities, and much more.

“This award allows us to pursue more opportunities, including the capacity to spread our mission in North America. It gives us the chance to firmly establish our influence as trusted leaders in traffic safety and open new channels for network expansion and professional development,” Colin concluded.

Colin will be joined by ATS Traffic’s Ontario leadership team when he attends the Best Managed Companies award gala in Toronto (May 15-16, 2024).

About Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program

Canada’s Best Managed Companies program continues to be the mark of excellence for privately-owned Canadian companies. Every year since the launch of the program in 1993, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies have competed for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates their management skills and practices. The awards are granted on four levels: 1) Canada’s Best Managed Companies new winner (one of the new winners selected each year); 2) Canada’s Best Managed Companies winner (award recipients that have re-applied and successfully retained their Best Managed designation for two additional years, subject to annual operational and financial review); 3) Gold Standard winner (after three consecutive years of maintaining their Best Managed status, these winners have demonstrated their commitment to the program and successfully retained their award for 4-6 consecutive years); 4) Platinum Club member (winners that have maintained their Best Managed status for seven years or more). Program sponsors are Deloitte Private, CIBC, The Globe and Mail, Salesforce and TMX Group. For more information, visit www.bestmanagedcompanies.ca
