The Ontario traffic manual book 7 outlines specific definitions of roles in the traffic control industry. It is used by stakeholders, contractors, designers, law enforcement, and entities of the provincial, municipal, and private sectors, to understand traffic control guidelines, conditions, and new technologies for the industry.

OTM Book 8 – Guide and Information Signs

Book 8 addresses the selection and application of guide and information signs. Guide and information signs must present needed information quickly, effectively, and in a timely manner to assist road users.

OTM Book 11 – Pavement Hazard and Delineation Markings

Book 11 provides the user with a consistent way of utilizing pavement and curb markings, post mounted delineators, object markers, and glare control devices to convey information to the driver.
