The WiAAPS® is a networked 2-wire APS that utilizes the 2 existing field wires that are commonly used for pedestrian push buttons to power each Wireless Accessible Pedestrian Button (WiAPB). Should there be no existing field wires, your conduit is crushed, or you have no room to fit more wires in your conduit, WiAAPS® can draw power from the pedestrian signal heads through SPI to have a true 0-wire system where no wires run back to the cabinet. Like our other APS devices, the WiAPBs provide pedestrians with audible, visual, and tactile cues, as well as extended press and clearance phase indicator options.

PedSafety Audible Beacon Device
The Audible Beacon Device (ABD) is an innovative product designed to enhance the safety of visually impaired pedestrians at intersections. The ABD emits a distinct and percussive locator tone, to aid pedestrians in the final two-thirds of the crosswalk during the pedestrian change interval. The ABD is mounted either on the pedestrian signal head at the destination end of the crosswalk or to a pole at a height of 7-10 feet to meet MUTCD regulations. In addition to being able to provide destination beaconing to pedestrians, the ABD serves as an extension to standalone independent APS devices.

After the success of the first touchless APS, our Guardian® Wave, it made sense to implement our active infrared technology into the 4EVR® MOAB. Like the 4EVR® MOAB, the 4EVR® MOAB upholds its reputation as the market’s most rugged button. What distinguishes 4EVR® MOAB Wave from other buttons is the inclusion of our wave touchless technology allowing calls to be placed with the wave of a hand. A call is detected by an active infrared sensor as infrared light precisely reflects off the hand, ensuring calls are initiated only when intended.

The nxtCycle Wave is an entirely touchless cyclist push button. Meticulously engineered with cyclists in mind, cyclists will no longer have to dismount and leave the bike lane to place a call. PedSafety PBI-L Push Button Interface
Latching LED Isolator Interfaces, allow PedSafety pedestrian and cyclist push buttons with LEDs to be configured in a latching LED mode. Through the integration of the PBI-L, our system ensures that the LED on your product remains illuminated until the pedestrian signal head displays the walk signal.
For scenarios where there is no available space in the card rack our PBI-L offers a hardwired solution. The PBI-L manages up to four phases and 16 pedestrian or cyclist buttons.

Greentop Illuminated LED Overhead Crosswalk Sign
Greentop Lighting’s internally-illuminated, overhead-mounted pedestrian sign gives drivers advanced warning of crosswalks and pedestrian presence.
